COVID-19 Vaccine BOOSTER info

All patients are eligible for booster doses based on appropriate Timeline

Who is eligible to receive the Bivalent/Omicron Booster?

  • Individuals ages 5+ for Pfizer and 6+ for Moderna (2 months after completion of primary series or most recent booster dose).

Pfizer: 

Booster Dose: The booster dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine is 0.3 mL for 12+ and 0.2 mL for 5–11-year-olds. The COVID-19 Vaccine booster dose may be administered intramuscularly at least 2 months after completing a primary series or the most recent booster dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine to individuals aged 5 years and older.

  • Approved for ages 5+
  • Must have completed primary series
  • Booster dose approved 2 months after completion of primary series or most recent booster dose

Moderna:

Booster Dose: The booster dose of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine is 0.5 mL for 12+ and 0.25 mL for 6-11-year-olds. The Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine booster dose may be administered intramuscularly at least 2 months after completing a primary series or the most recent booster dose of the Moderna COVID-19 Vaccine to individuals aged 6 years and older.

Individuals ages 6 months+ are eligible to receive a bivalent covid-19 vaccine or influenza vaccine.

Q. Can I receive the influenza vaccine (flu shot) and a COVID-19 vaccine at the same time?

Yes, both are considered inactive vaccines and can be given at the same time. Most patients tolerate both doses really well together.

Q. How can I register for a COVID-19 or influenza vaccine?

No registration is needed. Appointments are only required on Sundays at our Lexington location.

Q. Are walk-in appointments available?

Yes, we accept walk-ins. Appointments are only required on Sundays at our Lexington location.

Q. What Vaccines can I receive at My Pharmacy?

Our Lexington and Orangeburg location can provide COVID-19 and FLU vaccines. Our Lexington location can also provide tetanus, pneumonia, and shingles vaccines.
