Q. How long does it take to receive my results from a Rapid COVID and/or COVID & FLU Antigen test?
You will receive your results within 10-15 minutes after completing the test. Your results will be texted to the phone number you provide at the time of testing.
Q. What is the difference between a Rapid antigen test and a PCR test:
A rapid antigen test detects the presence of circulating virus in the nasopharynx area. It is a quick and reliable test however the PCR test is the “gold standard” test and is sent out to our lab and analyzed and used as a confirmatory test. For additional questions, please ask an associate prior to starting your test(s).

Q. When will I receive my PCR results?
We strive to complete PCR testing as quickly as possible. However, due to demand fluctuations results can take up to 2 days depending upon volume of testing at any given time. Unfortunately, My Pharmacy cannot guarantee timing on PCR results.
Q. Do you test for Influenza?
Yes, we typically conduct a rapid antigen test that detects influenza A, B, and Covid-19 if you’re experiencing symptoms. We also conduct a PCR test which detects the same as well as RSV.

Yes, our PCR test detects RSV, influenza A, B, and Covid-19.
Q. I need a PCR test today. Do you have a same day RT-PCR that will suffice for travel?
Yes, we do have a same day RT-PCR option listed above that takes approximately 1 hour to receive your results. This will suffice for travel purposes.
Q. I did not receive my results of my test via text. How do I retrieve this information?
Some cellular carriers will block text messages from coming through to your phone. You can retrieve your results anytime by visiting myrx.fetchmytest.com. As a reminder, PCR results can take 2 days before results will be visible.

Yes, our Pharmacist at the Lexington location can prescribe oral medications that reduce the severity, duration, and complications from COVID-19. Please call 803.756.3460 and our Pharmacist will review a series of questions to ensure you are eligible for this medication.
